September, Indian summer in Le Grau-du-Roi

🌅 September, Indian summer and unforgettable light 🌅

In September, Le Grau-du-Roi becomes quieter: beach, cycling, mild evenings, restaurant, pétanque and an indoor pool.

When the school holidays come to an end, Le Grau-du-Roi takes on a different atmosphere: quieter, often sunny, with peaceful days and beautiful late-afternoon light.

It is the perfect time to rediscover the Camargue at a different pace:

  • 🚲 a bike ride along the cycle paths;
  • ⛱️ a trip to Espiguette and its vast beaches;
  • 👨🏻‍🍳 dinner on the terrace of Le Sud restaurant;
  • 🍖 a barbecue with neighbours or a game of pétanque that stretches into the mild evening.

🌙 Evenings that take their time

In September, the evening becomes one of the most enjoyable moments of the day.

As the heat fades, everyone finds their own rhythm: a drink on the terrace, dinner at the restaurant, a game of pétanque or simply the pleasure of chatting outside late into the evening.

The light becomes softer, the temperatures more pleasant and the holidays take on a different flavour: calmer and more authentic.

💦 What if the day is a little cooler?

September weather is generally very pleasant. But if a cloud passes by or the wind picks up, our indoor, covered and heated swimming pool lets you continue enjoying your stay.

In September, you simply enjoy the Camargue differently… and that is often part of its charm.
